Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Director, Digital Data & Analytics with strong strategic acumen and a proven ability to execute, providing leadership across the development, stewardship, and delivery of scalable data and analytics products that support Kite’s digital marketing and omnichannel orchestration initiatives.

This role is accountable for shaping and prioritizing analytics and data solutions that address business needs, translating marketing and omnichannel objectives into clear functional data and measurement requirements, and directing agency, vendor, and DevOps teams to ensure timely availability of high quality data within Kite.

1. Define Digital, Omnichannel Data and Reporting Needs

  • Partner closely with Marketing stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, define clear KPIs and success metrics for digital and omnichannel programs and advise on data and reporting.

  • Own prioritization, delivery and maintenance of automated dashboards/reports, ensuring they align to agreed-upon KPIs and are actively used in business reviews and decision-making.

  • Managing vendors through design decisions and ensuring adoption of in-house dashboards for all business review updates.

  • Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.

2. Execute Digital & Omnichannel Analytics

  • Partner with agency, marketing and omnichannel teams to develop and/or evolve measurement framework for digital and omnichannel.

  • Provide guidance on measurement approaches and success criteria to ensure consistency and relevance across campaigns and channels.

  • Analyze omnichannel data to identify key trends, patterns, and drivers of performance. Provide holistic insights and impact on outcome metrics like customer engagement index.

3. Ensure Digital Marketing Data Readiness

  • Validate tracking, tagging, and data capture requirements in partnership with Marketing and IT teams.

  • Partner with marketing, digital and IT teams to build a standardized taxonomy and own the ongoing maintenance

  • Ensure alignment on data definitions, tagging conventions, and success metrics to enable reliable, hands-on analysis and reporting.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data standards.

  • Act as the business owner for Customer360 data asset(s) used for analytics, ensuring a unified and analytics-ready view of HCPs and HCOs across demographics, affiliations, activities, engagement, and intelligence from customer-facing channels.

  • Shape and lead build of Analytical Ready Data (ARDs) for downstream analytics e.g. Market Mix Modeling, Next Best Action, Orchestrated Journeys etc.

4. Own Technology Implementation and Operations of Orchestrated Journeys

  • Participate in meetings with agency and marketing team to align on the objectives of the orchestrated journeys and end-end flow of orchestrated journeys.

  • Translate the journey designs into requirements for implementation, ensuring alignment and validation with agency partners.

  • Lead implementation and quality assurance, including test data generation and comprehensive UAT to ensure robustness, accuracy, and seamless execution of journeys.

5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams for Execution

  • Work closely with omnichannel data science teams to understand analytical data needs.

  • Coordinate with Sales Operations and Business Analytics teams to synchronize activities during targeting/alignment refresh.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver analytics outputs on time.

  • Provide clear direction, prioritization, and feedback to agency and vendor teams to ensure delivery aligns with business expectations and timelines.

Basic Qualifications

PhD in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 + years of related experience

OR

Master’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 8+ years of related experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 10+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry

  • 8–10+ years of experience leading capabilities and delivering digital marketing/omnichannel analytics

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence delivery and hands on experience in Tablea u

  • Strong understanding of digital data from sources such as CRM, web analytics, display, social and marketing platforms

  • AI enthusiast with hands-on experience developingAIdrivensolutions for data management, analytics, and/or reporting

  • Experience driving data standardization and management of digital data including upstream tracking, tagging, and data validation

  • Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise marketing partners on KPIs and measurement approaches

  • Ability to visualize and present data and insights in impactful manner

  • Excellent ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively,leading delivery through agency and vendor resources

The salary range for this position is:

Bay Area: $195,670.00 - $253,220.00.

Other US Locations: $177,905.00 - $230,230.00.

Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
