Join a dynamic team to design and develop cutting-edge gas detection electronic devices. As a Hardware Engineer, you will utilize your electrical engineering expertise to create and optimize hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with software and firmware components.
Responsibilities
Design and develop hardware for gas detection electronic devices using electrical engineering principles.
Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless connectivity to the hardware.
Perform testing, debugging, and validation of hardware components.
Engage in circuit design, focusing on both digital and analog circuits.
Utilize microcontrollers effectively in hardware development.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware engineering or electrical engineering.
Proficiency in PCB design and hardware design.
Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits.
Experience in PCB layout and hardware testing.
Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Educational background in hardware engineering or electrical engineering.
Experience with FPGA and microcontrollers.
Work Environment
The role requires working independently as the sole hardware engineering expert within the team. You will collaborate with the detector team and onsite engineers. The position offers a supportive environment where you can leverage your skills to make significant contributions to the RC Systems team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
