Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (1st Shift) + Consistent & Encouraged Overtime (Weekends)
Pay Rate: $27.30/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Maintenance Mechanic for their Santa Fe Springs operation. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute directly to the safety and reliability of aircraft by repairing and maintaining critical components. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a career in aerospace.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring aircraft components meet strict performance criteria:
Perform inspections of incoming assemblies and components using technical procedures
Set up repair and testing equipment and facilities
Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot parts to meet tolerance and specification requirements
Repair or modify units that fail performance or tolerance checks
Assemble fabricated parts and components using hand and power tools
Ensure efficient turnaround times while maintaining strict quality standards
Interpret technical data, blueprints, and overhaul manuals
Document repair activities and follow work instructions accurately
Support additional operational and maintenance tasks as needed
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (or vocational/technical training in a related field)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on repair processes
Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer skills for documentation and work instruction navigation
Experience using hand tools and equipment (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.30 per hour
