Are you a strategic finance leader ready to make a real impact? We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-entity organization seeking a Director of Finance to take ownership of financial operations and help drive the next phase of growth.
This is a high-visibility role where you’ll work closely with executive leadership to strengthen financial infrastructure, improve performance, and support key business decisions across multiple subsidiaries.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient day-to-day operations
Oversee core functions including AR, AP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate results
Establish and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare and present financial reports across multiple entities with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to leadership
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state sales tax regulations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, fixed assets, and other key accounts
Partner with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors to support audits and reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a Director of Finance or senior finance leadership role
Strong technical accounting knowledge and operational finance expertise
Experience in multi-entity or multi-subsidiary environments
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to scale teams and processes
Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and partner with executive leadership

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or material handling equipment industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in NetSuite financial modules, including implementation and customization, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, federal/state regulations, and work-in-progress accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Avalara Sales Tax software, and enterprise resource planning systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
