Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and packing products according to specifications. You will also be expected to understand and follow recipes and written instructions, maintain a clean and sanitary work area, and operate equipment safely and efficiently. Teamwork is essential, as is the ability to perform under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and company guidelines. You will also identify potential defects in products and perform other related tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Produce and pack products to specification.
Understand and follow recipes and written instructions.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Adhere to GMP, safety, and company guidelines.
Identify and report potential product defects.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in production, packaging, and general labor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a food manufacturing facility.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency in general production, inspection, and packing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safe food handling.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work in various departments and change roles as needed.

Work Environment
You will work in a large warehouse that is neither too cold nor too hot. The environment is clean and may be loud depending on the area. It has a fruity smell due to the gummies being produced.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Cruz, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.27 - $18.77/hr.
