Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Sr. Supply Chain Planner – Shockwave Medical to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA .

Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Position Overview
The Sr Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in managing supply planning activities across multiple product families and sites to ensure timely availability of components and products. The scope of activities includes, but not limited to, supply-demand balancing, development of finished products and component safety stock strategies, planning and executing product phase-in and phase-out strategies, exception management. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that service & inventory goals are met.
Essential Job Functions
Planning and controlling inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factors mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand.
Planning inventory per the sales forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory targets.
Develop and manage transfer plan across sites using planning system. Execute transfer orders, align plan with production planning across sites.
Analyzing inventory levels, inventory positioning and production and sale forecasts.
Perform root cause analysis to identify service risks and perform mitigation actions.
Develop intimately deep cross site and cross functional relationships and communication with Demand Planning, Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing Sites, Procurement and Distribution/ Logistics to adjust plans for changes in forecast or actual supply or customer orders.
Manage and proactively communicate supply status and critical supply chain metrics. Perform analytical analysis, recognize issues, develop plan for resolution, and implement and / or influence the support of key partners to aid implementation.
Work with internal teams such as engineering, R&D, marketing, QA, RA to manage product lifecycle of assigned products; manage phase-in phase-out strategies of products in regions and end-of-life parts.
Identify and resolve conflicts with material availability, capacity availability and order promise data integrity.
Support master data maintenance and ensure master data information in ERP system, such as item attributes, planning, ordering/manufacturing lead times, are accurate and up to date.
Develop and refine tools for on-going support of business. Take a lead role for business process and system enhancement coordination with supply chain and IT teams.
Identify and lead continue improvement activities to improve supply chain performances.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operation or related discipline with 5 years of related experience required. Master’s degree in supply chain, operation or related discipline preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills; with a focus on details and accuracy and a strong aim to improve existing process and systems
Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as strong team player collaborating with cross-functional teams; build relationships at all levels within the internal organization and external parties.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues/situation.
Good time management skills; work well with deadlines and under pressure. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt and complete unexpected or un-forecasted requirements
Working knowledge of quality system requirements and compliance (e.g. traceability, QSRs, ISO, MDD requirements) and other applicable regulations.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, Oracle/QAD preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable.
Additional Information
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

$91,000.00 - $147,200.00
