Position Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Launch Excellence & Marketing Operations, OTTAVA will be the central hub GSM Launch Excellence Strategic Project Management, ensuring commercial readiness from Marketing and Launch Operations for OTTAVA. This role will have responsibility for advancing ways of working to accelerate strategy execution and cross-functional/regional engagement. This will require strong collaboration skills and partnership across J&J MedTech, with Global Strategic Marketing, Brand, CommOps, Service, Deliver and Program Management.

Reporting to the Director, Launch Excellence & Operations, this role will be critical in building & maintaining integrated project plans across releases and geographies, tracking risks and dependencies, driving execution & producing executive reporting.

The ideal candidate is a leader who can connect the endtoend strategic vision with daytoday execution, proactively identifying dependencies and risks, challenging assumptions through critical questioning, and driving disciplined, rigorous tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution,implementationand adoption of streamlined & iterative Launch Excellence framework for OTTAVA, building the foundational mechanisms to support an accelerated cadence of innovation.

  • Evolve and execute Governance, Ways of Working and Operating Mechanisms of different workstreams withinOTTAVAGSM organization, in support of OTTAVA Launch Excellence plans.

  • Build,runand sustainIntegrated Project Plans,monitoringcritical paths,and  trackingactivities, dependencies, risks,mitigations  andassumptions  acrossOTTAVA Launch release cadence.

  • Develop & sustain streamlined tools for Strategic Project Tracking, driving adoption,rigorand accountability & keeping plans current with key partners & stakeholders.

  • Proactively partner withCrossFunctionalpartners for a seamless synchronization of timelines with ProgramManagementand Operational Readiness workstreams.

  • Support Global Leadership and Marketing board engagement forums with meetinglogistics& agendas, driving meeting hygiene (agenda, minutes, action planfollowups), keeping key partners accountable.

  • Prepareexecutivereadyscorecards & status updates for Senior Leadership forums

  • Lead by the example, delivering rigor in execution anddemonstratinga fast learning and growth mindset,operatingby J&J C.E.O principles (Compete, Execute,Optimize)

  • Provide guidance and support to teams involved in launch activities, ensuring clear roles & responsibilities.

Qualifications

​Education:

  • A minimum of aBachelor’s Degreeisrequired. MBA or advanceddegreepreferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of8years of relevant progressive experience in MedTech field, inMarketing orCommercial Operations,Project Managementor Program/ ProductManagementroles.

  • Experience managing new product development or new product introduction projects in MedTech.

  • Strong background in Project / Program management (PMP, Agile, or equivalent certificationis a plus).

  • Proficient level with Project Management solutions (MS Project,Planner,AirTable…) and MS Office package.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect strategy to execution by evolving businessobjectivesinto structured,dependencydrivenplans, with clear milestones, and measurable outcomes.

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Brand,CommOps, Service, Customer Service and Operations.

  • Proventrack recordofanticipatingdownstream impacts across complex programs, proactively challenging assumptions, surfacing tradeoffs, and drivingtimely,databased decision.

  • Ability tooperatein a matrix at speed; proactive risk/issue escalation and resolution

  • Demonstrated ability to lead Change, driving adoption through strong relationships with key stakeholders, with organizational savviness.

  • Excellent stakeholder management,communicationand interpersonal skills & executive presence withdemonstratedability to influence decision making at all levels.

  • Capability to execute flawlessly inhighpaced environment. Able to work independently with minimal direction.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • ExperienceonMS Dynamics CRM is a plus.

Other:

  • This role will be based out of Santa Clara, CA. and may require up to 15% travel (domestic and international)

  • Theanticipatedbase pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950
