Job Description
Insight Global is sourcing for a Senior Software Tooling QA Engineer - Mapping to join one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area. This person will:
Perform testing of HD/SD map editing tools during weekly release process including creating test plans & test cases, executing tests, and bug triaging
Create release notes and communicate to map operation team
Develop UI test automation to increase test efficiency
Work closely with multi-functional teams to propose/review/prioritize product features & bug fixes
This role can pay between $45-$55/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of solid Software QA experience testing UI apps, with 2+ years in the mapping field
-Solid understanding of SDLC and agile process
-Proficient in Python and a web UI test automation framework -GIS background a great plus
