As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control points, respond to alarms and/or calls for service, and document activity using site technology. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, lab, and/or campus areas, including exterior perimeter checks, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and common areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization per site policy, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete detailed, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
