Our client, a leading organization in the technology support industry, is seeking a Help Desk Level 2 - D to join their team. As a Help Desk Level 2 - D, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Help Desk Level 2 - D
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay Range: 28/hr
What's the Job?
Resolve or escalate support tickets entered by Level 1 Analysts, ensuring timely and professional responses
Review problem tickets, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions following established SOPs and BOPs
Manage crisis escalations and coordinate with other support groups when necessary
Deliver a positive customer service experience by communicating clearly and empathetically
Participate in various projects to improve support processes and documentation
What's Needed?
Strong documentation, PowerPoint, and ServiceNow ticketing skills
10+ years of experience in IT support roles, with expertise in troubleshooting Windows-based applications and hardware
Associates degree in Computer Science or related discipline, with 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
Ability to diagnose network, memory, and application issues, and escalate priority problems appropriately
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
