We’re seeking a Facilities Management Systems (FMS) Lead to support state‑of‑the‑art semiconductor facilities in Santa Clara, CA. If you thrive at the intersection of controls engineering, construction support, and client leadership, this role offers the opportunity to shape complex, high‑impact facility systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead FMS work orders, PLC/SCADA programming, construction support, and system commissioning

  • Serve as the primary technical and client interface—turning operational needs into robust control‑system solutions

  • Direct multi‑disciplinary and international engineering teams; coordinate electrical contractors and design workflows

  • Oversee PLC hardware specifications, programming validation, instrumentation reviews, and field troubleshooting

  • Manage integration efforts: sequences of operation, calibration coordination, RFIs, and quality audits of installed work

  • Support ongoing operations including YEM, on‑call rotation, and replacement‑part coordination

  • Associate Degree or equivalent vocational degree with Journeyman license

  • At Least 10 years of Industrial Instrumentation and Controls, FMS systems, PLC/SCADA programming, instrumentation, or related engineering/technical leadership roles with minimum 4 years of leadership and management experience.

  • Proven background managing construction teams, programmers, and multi‑disciplinary technical staff.

  • Experience leading client interactions, technical presentations, and design reviews.

  • Demonstrated leadership managing hybrid and international engineering resources.

  • Intermediate proficiency in RSLogix 5000 Studio and/or Cimplicity v10 or higher.

  • Basic knowledge with Allen-Bradley SLC 500 and newer PLC platforms.

  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, instrument diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5/1 symbology.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Knowledge and experience in the design of industrial control panels.

  • Industrial network experience.

  • Knowledge with industrial networking and design components, virtual machine, SQL Server.

  • Experience participating in system testing and commissioning activities.

  • Experience in creating Sequence of Operations documentation.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.

  • Experience in Semi-conductor, industrial or general industrial facilities

  • Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.

Additional Details:

  • This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site located in Santa Clara, CA

  • Candidate must commute to the site Monday-Friday during core hours (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), with some flexibility based on client and employee needs

  • Requires field mobility including walking long distances, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Travel may be required.

  • Must pass background check and drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).
