Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for ensuring safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing processes that support operational excellence. The team works closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity and eliminate waste. The Industrial Engineer plays a key role in problem solving, process standardization, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong shop-floor engagement and data-driven decision making. Through structured engineering and Lean methodologies, the role directly impacts business results and plant competitiveness.
What the candidate will do
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Identify operational losses through data analysis (cycle time, downtime, scrap, and capacity).
Lead and support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen events, A3 problem solving, and Value Stream Mapping.
Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, and work instructions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve recurring production and process issues.
Support line balancing, layout optimization, ergonomics, and material flow improvements.
Monitor key operational KPIs and drive corrective actions based on performance gaps.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing, quality, and safety standards.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
English level: Intermediate (ability to read technical documentation and communicate in a professional environment).

Actively promotes a continuous improvement mindset on the shop floor.
Working knowledge in manufacturing or continuous improvement environments is desirable (internship or professional experience).
Manufacturing Processes
Understands end‑to‑end manufacturing process flow and interactions.
Evaluates cycle times, capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and process variation.
Supports method improvements to increase operational efficiency and stability.
Problem Solving
Uses structured problem‑solving methodologies to identify root causes.
Develops, implements, and follows up on corrective and preventive actions.
Documents solutions and shares lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
Additional information
Located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5pm.
This position will require to travel up to 20% domestic and internationally.
