Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Press Operator for the 2nd shift in a dynamic manufacturing environment that specializes in producing rubber parts for the aerospace industry. The role involves operating injection molding machines and hot presses, ensuring efficient production and quality output.
Responsibilities
Mold parts according to written specifications, remove the parts, clean the tool, and load the press with materials for the new cycle.
Inspect molded parts frequently and place products in manufacturing tote boxes.
Operate the presses efficiently, meeting quality and quantity requirements, and maintain production levels.
Provide accurate production information.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Spanish speaking is acceptable.
No previous experience required; entry-level position.
Desire to pursue a long-term career in manufacturing.

Work Environment
The facility is lean six sigma certified and extremely organized, ensuring everything from products to office supplies is well-placed. Although machines can get hot, the facility is equipped with AC units to maintain a comfortable temperature. This is an ITAR facility, featuring numerous injection molding machines and hot presses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
