Aerospace Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assemblers for our 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) at a military and defense facility in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves repetitive work in a high-paced production environment with the goal of assembling 5000 units per month. Overtime opportunities are available during the week and on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
Perform repetitive mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.
Utilize common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and pressure gauges.
Conduct assembly tasks using multimeters, test boxes, or specialized test equipment.
Read wiring diagrams and follow detailed assembly instructions.
Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams both verbally and in writing.
Adapt swiftly to changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced work environment.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing mechanical assemblies.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong computer skills, including the use of standard browsers and word processing applications.
Working knowledge of common electrical components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with mechanical assembly of repetitive components, wire harnesses, and test racks.
Proficiency in hand soldering and component fabrication.
Capability to perform validation and testing of electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
Experience with air-frame construction techniques like rivets and mechanical fasteners.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic box assemblies and write detailed issue tickets.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
