Amergis Elementary Instructional Aide (48 College Credits in Santa Ana, California
Elementary School Instructional Aide
Required 48 college credits - doesn't have to be education, any college credits work
Requires College-level reading, writing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, mathematics and/or science
If no college credits, must have passed NCLB test
Key Responsibilities
Assist students with classroom activities, assignments, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
Support behavior management strategies and maintain a positive learning environment.
Provide personal care assistance, including mobility support and therapeutic exercises, as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the school day.
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and professional standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. 48 college credits or NCLB test required. Must have College-level reading, writing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, mathematics and/or science
Professional Standards: Must comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification (if applicable).
TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation).
Legal Requirements: Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements for employment in a school setting.
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
