Amergis Speech Language Pathologist - Schools in Sanford, North Carolina

Speech-Language Pathologist (School Setting)

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

Contract Length: 2 Months

Start Date: March 16, 2026

JR Ingram Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluations, therapy services, and documentation in accordance with student plans of care and physician orders. The SLP will support a caseload of 56 students, delivering both direct services and supplementary aids. Additional hours will be paid for IEP meetings and other required sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform student evaluations and deliver individualized therapy

  • Document services in ECATS according to district and clinical standards

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

  • Provide both direct and supplementary speech services

  • Participate in meetings (extra hours paid)

Minimum Requirements

  • Active SLP license (NC Board of Examiners or eligible to apply)

  • CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract/state)

  • CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB test/PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

  • Complies with all state, federal, and professional standards

  • Must be at least 18 years old
