Job Title: General Production Worker
Position Overview
A growing manufacturing operation is seeking dependable General Production Workers to support daily shop and production activities. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on exposure to a manufacturing environment and is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and contribute to overall production flow. The position supports multiple shop functions, including assembly tasks and assistance to the paint hanging team (no painting involved).
Key Responsibilities
Read and follow drawings, diagrams, blueprints, work orders, and written instructions
Assist with general shop duties, including basic assembly and production support
Support the paint hanging team by helping prepare materials and components (not painting)
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support production needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow safety policies and procedures at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail with basic problem‑solving ability
Good time management and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
Previous shop, helper, or general labor experience
Comfortable using hands and fingers for repetitive tasks
Ability to climb ladders or step stools as needed
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Optional Overtime: Fridays as available

Work Environment
This position is performed in a shop or production environment and involves continuous standing, walking, bending, squatting, reading, talking, and listening. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in varying temperatures throughout the year. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided when working around chemicals or equipment. This is a hands‑on role best suited for someone reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
