Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The role involves handling and transporting kegs and packages, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. Ideal candidates will have experience with stand-up forklifts and the ability to navigate warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in unloading and loading of kegs upon truck arrivals.
Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently.
Utilize RF scanners and possess knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.
Locate beer pallets in refrigerated areas using assigned bin numbers.
Load and unload shipping trucks effectively.
Prepare packages for shipping in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse during downtime.
Essential Skills
Experience with stand-up forklifts.
Proficiency in using RF scanners.
Knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.
Ability to lift cases up to 35lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170lbs.
Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
2 years of warehouse experience.
Previous experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
Forklift experience preferred, with on-site certification available.

Work Environment
Enjoy working in a climate-controlled facility with occasional tasks requiring entry into refrigerated areas. The position involves 2nd shift hours from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift hours from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The work location is in Richmond, VA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
