Our client, a global technology and data center solutions organization, is seeking a Utility Project Manager (Energy & Sustainability) to join their team. As a Utility Project Manager , you will be part of the Data Center Energy & Sustainability Department , supporting Energy, DCE, DCD and cross‑functional utility teams . The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder communication skills, solid organizational capabilities, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset , which will align successfully in the organization.

Utility Project Manager – Energy & Sustainability
Location:
Boydton, VA (Hybrid)
Pay Range:
$70.43 – $75.87 per hour
What’s the Job?
Serve as the single point of contact for all utility scope, including transmission, distribution, and substations.
Manage scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety for utility projects supporting data center operations.
Publish, maintain, and report detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, identifying critical path activities.
Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, utilities, AHJs, and internal Energy teams through regular progress meetings.
Track budgets, change orders, documentation, and deliver weekly progress reports with site updates and photos.
What’s Needed?
Prior program or project management experience supporting utility or energy‑related projects.
Mandatory utility experience (transmission, distribution, or substation projects).
Ability to support Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) core working hours.
Experience coordinating with construction or infrastructure teams (no onsite construction required).
Strong communication skills and experience working in cross‑functional, partially remote environments.
