Our client, a leader in data management and technology support, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2, you will be part of the Infrastructure & Asset Support team, supporting critical data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Location: Onsite - Sandston, VA
Pay Range: $26 - $29/hr + Benefits & PTO
Duration: Up to 18 Months on W2
Day Shift A: 10-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)
Day Shift B: 10-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)
What's the Job?
Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data center asset management
Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
Monitor systems for equipment failure or errors, responding promptly to maintain operational efficiency
Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities to meet regulatory standards
Handle material movement, shipping, receiving, and destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or IT environment
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and safety compliance, including PPE requirements
