ManpowerGroup Construction Safety Manager in Sandston, Virginia
Our client, a leading organization in Construction Safety Management, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager , you will be part of the Cost Management / Integration group , supporting Lease Providers, construction contractors, and site EHS teams .
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication , attention to detail , and excellent problem‑solving skills , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Range: $70.53 - $77.58
What’s the Job?
Assist in identifying and educating teams on High‑Risk Activities (HRA).
Monitor safety planning, KPIs, and compliance across project stages.
Conduct daily observations and weekly site inspections.
Participate in safety meetings, risk reviews, incident investigations, and coordination sessions.
Stop unsafe work and alert supervision when dangerous conditions are present.
What’s Needed?
8–10 years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior Construction/Industrial Health & Safety role.
OSHA 10 & 30 plus NFPA 70E training.
Safety certification such as CSP or CHST.
Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local safety regulations.
Fully IT‑literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, cloud apps) with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
