We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial records, handling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping tasks. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization through meticulous record-keeping and reporting.

We are assisting a client in Sand Springs, Oklahoma with the search for an experienced Bookkeeper to support their accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring day-to-day bookkeeping activities are handled with precision. This role will play an important part in supporting the overall financial health of the organization through timely record‑keeping, reconciliations, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely and efficient manner.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.

• Manage payroll processing and ensure all employee payments are accurate and compliant.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements for review and analysis.

• Assist with month-end closing processes, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

• Handle receptionist duties as needed, including answering calls and managing correspondence.

• Monitor compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with general ledger management and month-end close processes.

• Experience with payroll processing and compliance requirements.

• Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.

• Understanding of DOT compliance requirements is a plus.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
