Join our team and create, improve and innovate the everyday!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe role of the electrical Technician is to build and test electrical systems to specification based on schematics, including point-to-point wiring. Install industrial plant equipment and perform required maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality. Safely advance departmental assembly efficiency and productivity. Assist Maintenance Technicians with routine preventive maintenance tasks, facility upkeep and housekeeping, and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair.For full job description, please click link below.Essential Functions / Responsibilities * Accurately read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, and apply written and verbal instructions. * Completing point-to-point wiring and installing a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical components. * Performing necessary hand operations such as deburring, drilling, grinding, sawing, and cutting, bending, threading, and fabricating piping. * Installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and completed assemblies and systems. * Precisely measure assemblies and promptly notify supervisor(s) when dimensions or tolerances seem inconsistent or unworkable. * Assist maintenance technicians with efficiently organizing and laying out pipelines, fittings, and equipment in a cohesive piping system, including: * Running pneumatic lines, and installing valves and regulators. * Running hydraulic lines, and installing rams and pumps. * Precisely follow standard operating procedure and safety protocols. * Safely operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, electric pallet jacks and other industrial vehicles for which training has been completed and qualification achieved and maintained. * Conscientiously monitor and maintain safety requirements in the work area throughout each shift, by ensuring: * Tools and equipment are operated as instructed and only as intended by the manufacturer. * Tools and other items are safely and properly stored. * Work areas are kept clean and organized. * Waste materials are removed, as needed.* Tools and equipment are operated as instructed and only as intended by the manufacturer.* Tools and other items are safely and properly stored.* Work areas are kept clean and organized.* Waste materials are removed, as needed.Click theI'm Interestedbutton so our hiring team can review your application and schedule time to speak with you soon!What happens next?Once you submit your application / resume, a member of the recruiting team will send you an email with a self-schedule link to speak with one of our Recruiters.Watch your email for that link!QualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) / Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), plus three (3) years of experience building and troubleshooting electrical projects in an industrial environment preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Electrical/Technical Skills. Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, blueprints, sketches, written specifications, and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, position, tolerances, orientation, and dimensions. Advanced understanding of electricity and electrical circuits, switches, sensors, actuators, electrical schematics, electromechanical devices, motors, safety potential, grounding, and electrical control systems.
