Description
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join one of our clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will handle key financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various accounting functions. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of financial reports.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial data.
• Prepare and post journal entries, adhering to established accounting standards.
• Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company records.
• Support audits by providing documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or processes as needed.
Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles.
• Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.
• Expertise in account and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across departments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
