The Construction Worker position performs general construction labor in support of residential and/or commercial construction projects. The employee works under the supervision ofproject managers, foremen, or skilled trades workers and performs physically demanding tasks essential to construction operations.Primary duties include, but are not limited to:Performing physical labor at active construction sites;Preparing work areas by clearing debris, setting up materials, tools, and equipment;Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing construction materials such as lumber, concrete blocks, drywall, piping, and metal components;Assisting skilled trades workers (such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers) by holding materials, tools, or equipment and performing supportive tasks as directed;Operating and tending basic construction equipment and hand tools, including shovels, hammers, drills, saws, compactors, wheelbarrows, and similar non-specialized tools;Mixing and handling construction materials such as concrete, mortar, and adhesives;Cleaning job sites, removing waste materials, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment;Following all safety procedures, job site rules, and OSHA-related guidelines.
