Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in San Mateo, California
As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring the efficient operation of their systems and equipment. Your role will involve installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of building automation and/or fire alarm systems, contributing to the overall satisfaction and success of our clients.
You will report directly to our Technical Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our San Mateo, California location on a On-site work schedule. In some cases, travel to job sites outside of your area will be required.
In this role, you will impact customer satisfaction by ensuring that systems operate smoothly and efficiently, ultimately enhancing the productivity and safety of the environments in which they are used.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems, fire alarm systems and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve service delivery.
YOU MUST HAVE
A minimum of 6 years of experience in field service or related technical support roles.
Strong technical knowledge of building automation and/or fire alarm systems and equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques specific to HVAC and building management systems.
Experience with relevant tools and technologies, including control systems and software used in building automation.
Must be willing to travel to job sites outside of your area.
WE VALUE
Relevant certifications are a plus.
Significant experience in field service management and customer support.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

The salary range for this position is ($57,500.00 - $71,900.00). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
