BeOne Medicines Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics in San Mateo, California
The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics will predominantly be focused on delivering strategic recommendations based on predictive data analytics leveraging the required array of analytical models to ensure successful commercialization of BeOne’s products. The role will involve working very closely with other functional teams to support them with their analytics needs. This role may also evolve to take on global activities and will coordinate between many project teams and stakeholders around managing and enhancing BeOne’s analytical initiatives. This position will drive the creation of sustainable predictive analytics platforms designed to rapidly derive insights and share recommendations to influence critical strategies and tactics, inform executive decision-making, and uncover levers to drive revenue and share growth.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Translate data into insights and actionable recommendations which drive change in philosophy, strategy, and execution
Support high-priority commercial initiatives by integrating insights from secondary data analytics, forecasting, primary market research, competitive and market intelligence
Work very closely with other functional teams to support them with their analytics needs. Own patient level analytics like adherence, persistency, new starts and discontinuations, comorbidities etc.
Leverage machine learning algorithms and predictive methodologies to build, validate, and implement robust and timely models that are adopted and leveraged cross functionally.
Experiment with varied predictive algorithms to continually improve accuracy and recall of existing predictive models. Help drive the advanced analytics roadmap from concept to reality.
Collaborate with third-party vendors, consultants, and business partners by serving as the primary point of contact responsible for the development of relevant business rules and appropriate governance.
Partner with cross functional commercial teams to help assimilate and drive adoption of results from predictive models into tactical execution and pull through initiatives.
Explore collaboratively with cross functional teams to advance the use of novel data sources like RWD.
Create and manage patient longitudinal journeys to summarize the market and use it in fundamental analyses like targeting and segmentation.
Required Skills:
Expertise with Python, R, and SQL programming languages
Knowledge of Predictive Algorithms, A/B Testing, and Machine Learning concepts
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical datasets like Claims, EMR, IOD, SP/SD etc
Expertise with MS Office
Understanding of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and other lymphoma commercial markets
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively more responsible work experience OR
Master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field and five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience
