BeOne Medicines Division Sales Manager – Solid Tumor - West in San Mateo, California

General Description:

In order to support the expanded approval of Tevimbra (tislelizumab), as well as the emerging GI pipeline, BeOne’s Solid Tumor Sales Team will be expanding. Reporting to the National Sales Director, US Sales – Solid Tumor Franchise, the BeOne Solid Tumor Division Sales Manager will develop strategic & tactical plans and execute those plans to exceed sales goals. Responsibilities include executing the strategy and generating sales results for the division, recruiting, hiring, resource planning and allocation, and overall performance management of their sales team. The Division Sales Manager at BeOne will lead a team of eight Solid Tumor Account Managers.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a B.A. / B.S. with previous pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.

  • The ideal candidate should have 10 plus years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & sales management, with significant Solid Tumor experience and a proven track record of success in a management role.

  • Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes as well as previous national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals and Medicare Part D, etc.

  • Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial roles, such as marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, etc.

  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).

  • Familiarity with CRM software.

  • Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales.

  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business.

  • Must demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.

  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority.

  • Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style.

  • Adept in build trusted advisor relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire Solid Tumor Account Managers.

  • Responsible for selecting and leading Solid Tumor Account Managers.

  • Leads as a content expert in the GI Oncology marketplace.

  • Develops a culture of continuous learning & development.

  • Supports the Commercial Team’s learning programs that are competency building for the long-term development of our employees.

  • Challenges the status quo with training sessions that support their team in the areas of clear communication, advanced analytics and customer service.

  • Develops real authentic relationships, with openness, vulnerability, trust and positive intent with their team.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred:

  • 10 years Hematology & Oncology Experience

  • Master’s Degree in OD, ORGL or MBA

Computer Skills: Highly skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Other Qualifications: Expertise in conducting Crucial Conversations and supporting the Solid Tumor Account Managers when stakes are high, emotions run strong, and opinions vary.

Travel: 50%
