Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, climbing, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
Proficient in using computers and standard office software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications, as well as portable electronic communication device
Intermediate skills in reading, writing, and mathematics sufficient to perform inventory tracking, data entry, and basic reconciliation task
Basic problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in warehouse/store environment
Experience with inventory control procedures and inventory management systems
Experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and electric or manual pallet jacks
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) and CWMS
Experience in a facilities, maintenance, or higher education environment
Job Description
Responsible for accurate accounting, control, ordering, and distribution of supplies and parts supporting Facilities. This position ensures safe efficient warehouse operations by maintaining inventory integrity, supporting procurement activities, and providing timely issuance of materials to departments
Job Duties
Issue supplies and parts University personnel while ensuring accurate tracking and documentation
Order, receive, and stock warehouse inventory to maintain appropriate supply levels
Enter and manage data within the Facilities Computerized Work Management System ( CWMS )
Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
Support receiving operations, including unloading, verifying, and distributing freight
Research, investigate, and order warehouse stock items as needed
Build and maintain effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service to internal departments, vendors, and external partners
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies and related tools
Pick up purchased goods from vendor locations as required
Perform other duties as assigned in support of operations

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record in accordance with University Policy.
