Job Title: Materials Handler
Job Description
Materials Handler oversees the movement, accuracy, and control of materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires strong hands-on warehouse experience, advanced ERP knowledge, and the ability to support production and shipping workflows. You will help ensure inventory accuracy, maintain efficient material flow, and support a fast-growing operation.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
Execute and audit ERP transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, backflushes, and adjustments.
Maintain accurate real-time inventory; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Pick, stage, and issue materials to production and shipping.
Lead cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and on-time shipments.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to warehouse operations.
Train junior warehouse or materials staff on handling and ERP procedures.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Communicate with purchasing, planning, production, and shipping regarding material issues.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using ERP Systems, specifically NetSuite.
Strong inventory control and cycle counts experience.
Forklift operation skills.
Ability to use computers and perform data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of material handling experience.
Strong ERP System experience, specifically with NetSuite.
Ability to handle raw materials.

Work Environment
The position is available for the 1st shift, running from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be working independently within a small warehouse team. The role involves heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
