About the Role:
The Warehouse Employee AM plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse during morning shifts in San Juan, PR. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, products, and equipment in a timely and organized manner. The role requires close attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. The Warehouse Employee AM collaborates with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and support overall supply chain effectiveness. Ultimately, this position contributes to the smooth flow of goods, supporting customer satisfaction and business continuity.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
Availability to work morning shifts as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or distribution center.
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production targets.
Skills:
The required skills such as basic math, reading, and physical stamina are essential for accurately processing orders, managing inventory, and performing manual tasks safely throughout the shift.
