About the role:
This Sales Marketing Business Advisor role directly supports UKG's Marketing team as part of the GTM Strategy & Planning team. Act as the pipeline strategist and attribution governance owner, serving as a trusted growth advisor to Sales Marketing leadership. This role will partner with the Business Advisor manager, a Marketing analytics team, and peer BAs to identify trends, provide insights to VPs+ and collaborate across Sales teams to drive business impact and revenue growth. The position involves complex analysis of business goals, financial data, and key metrics to optimize resources and support strategic initiatives.
About You:
• Serve as a strategic advisor, influencing marketing and business development program structure and execution, to increase marketing’s impact on revenue and growth.
• Prepare marketing pipeline analysis, including insights, trends and opportunities, for weekly executive review.
• Defining, reporting on, and evaluating Sales Marketing business performance & pipeline contribution through the utilization of Salesforce.com (SFDC), Clari, and PowerBI dashboards; to include event ROI, campaign performance, pipeline demand generation, lead conversion, & close rates.
• Co-develop dashboards and reports required to monitor funnel mechanics and performance.
• Provide insights on pipeline velocity by segment from MCL → MQL → S0 → S1 → Closed Won
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align campaign planning & assess the ROI of marketing program mix and results.
• Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend optimization strategies. Analyze channel mix effectiveness (events, digital, partner, ABM, etc.)
• Identifying whitespace accounts for targeted demand generation; provide thoughtful data-based insights to leaders.
• Ensuring campaign-to-opportunity attribution integrity in SFDC
• Track monthly and quarterly progress to marketing goals, influencing program mix and execution to drive measurable results.

• Assisting in the preparation of the Quarterly Business Review/Outlook package; to include gathering and analyzing commentary to build actionable insights and trends
• Contributing to the preparation of Leadership presentations and coordinating input from other functional area leaders.
• Ultimately serve as the trusted advisor and go-to-resource for the Sales Marketing leadership team for our Sales tools, data & insights, strategic planning, & supporting Sales growth initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, or related GTM strategy role in a SaaS company with an understanding of marketing channels, campaigns, pipeline metrics, and the sales cycle
• Strong understanding of pipeline management, stage progression, funnel conversion metrics, and forecast methodology
• Excellent judgment, interpersonal, communication skills, and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with active listening and summarization skills
• 5+ years' experience and highly skilled in Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft suite, and Salesforce.com (SFDC) and data structures (opportunities, campaigns, attribution, forecasting)
• Experience analyzing campaign performance, event ROI, and demand generation contribution to revenue
• Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights and actionable recommendations
• Highly self-motivated, analytical with demonstrated problem solving, and have sound business decision making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build credibility, trust, and rapport with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Proficient in slideware creation in PowerPoint and presenting at an executive level
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity and prior usage of Clari, MEDDPPIC, Gainsight, and PowerBI
• Ability to proactively influence, advise, and collaborate with teams
• Ability to work in a remote team environment and cross-functionally
• Passion to grow their role and desire to be a trusted business advisor to field leadership

The pay range for this position is $129,500 to $186,100. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
