Position: Technical Transfer Engineer
Location: San Jose Iturbide, GUA, MEX
Role Summary:
As a Technical Transfer Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating technology transfer and the implementation of new products or redesigns, ensuring compliance with high standards of quality, documentation, and efficiency. You will work in collaboration with international teams, manufacturing, and technical areas to guarantee the successful introduction of innovative products in the Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, and Soaps categories.
Responsibilities:
Transfer and adapt product and process technology from Global Technology Centers (GTCs).
Implement formulas and processes in the Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, and Soaps categories, ensuring their correct integration into the plant.
Generate, maintain, and control the necessary technical documentation: formulas, checklists, change control, safety sheets, manufacturing orders and procedures, validation protocols, and reports.
Provide technical support to manufacturing areas, collaborating to resolve issues and drive improvements.
Comply with and enforce quality standards, especially in technology transfer, validation, and process control.
Train manufacturing personnel in processes, safety, raw material handling, procedures, and problem-solving.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new formulas through process validation.
Modify and optimize existing processes as part of continuous improvement.
Follow up on and resolve consumer complaints related to products and processes.
Implement and promote global technology transfer procedures and continuous improvement projects in the technical area.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering and quality areas.
Strong knowledge in process validation, technical documentation, and quality control.
Intermediate to advanced English.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in the development and/or implementation of new products.
