Title: Cost Especialist
Location: San Jose Iturbide.
Role Summary:
The Cost Specialist for Personal Care, Bar Soaps is the key financial steward of the focus factory and is a strategic partner to provide financial guidance and direction to the operations team to ensure the long-term success of the focus factory and its operations.
Key Responsibilities
Budget & Cost Management: Oversee focus factory spending to meet KPI targets (Cost per Case/Ton) by monitoring labor, utilities, maintenance, and fixed conversion costs.
Standard Costing & Master Data: Lead standard cost calculations and intercompany pricing, collaborating with Global CBS to ensure accurate master data, rate routings, and variance explanations.
Financial Closing & Compliance: Execute month-end closing activities in coordination with CBS to maintain financial integrity, data accuracy, and timely reporting.
Balance Sheet & Fixed Assets: Manage reconciliations (Prepaids, Accruals, GR/IR) and the full fixed asset lifecycle, including CEB project capitalizations, physical counts, and depreciation simulations.
Performance Analysis & Strategy: Analyze financial statements and plant performance drivers to provide timely insights and recommend strategic solutions for financial issues.
Working Capital & Inventory Control: Optimize working capital through effective internal controls, SLOB material reviews, and physical inventory management to mitigate risks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance and Business.
+5 years of experience in finance, Budget & Planning, Costs or Accounting.
English (advanced level).
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent skills in SAP or equivalent ERP system.
Accounting and Financial Expertise
Advance knowledge of Excel and google suite (Google Sheets and Slides)
