Amazon Program Manager, Selling Partner Services in San Jose, Costa Rica

Description

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Program Manager to join our team and play a critical role in driving experimentation excellence, metrics governance, and feature launch quality across our seller-facing platforms. In this role, you will ensure that our experimentation and metrics ecosystems operate at the highest bar, enabling teams to make faster, more informed decisions that directly impact the Partner experience.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, data science, and business stakeholders to maintain operational rigor, improve reporting processes, and drive adoption of best practices across experimentation and metrics workflows.

Key job responsibilities

Experimentation Program Management

  • Maintain a high standard for end-to-end experiment analysis cycle times, ensuring teams receive timely and actionable results.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce bottlenecks in the experimentation lifecycle.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Collect, track, and work toward automating key performance indicators related to experimentation and metrics platform adoption for recurring business review reporting.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide leadership with clear visibility into program health and goal attainment.

Metrics Governance

  • Drive campaigns to improve the quality, accuracy, and completeness of metric definitions across the catalog to enhance AI-driven recommendations within our feature launch workflows.

  • Lead efforts to identify and deprecate unused or outdated metrics, maintaining a clean and reliable metrics ecosystem.

  • Build metrics health tracker to make sure customers and downstream services use up-to-date metrics.

Experimentation & Launch Workflow Compliance

  • Monitor and report on experiments conducted outside of the standard feature launch workflow, identifying gaps and driving backfill efforts where appropriate.

  • Track features launched through the standard workflow that do not leverage the existing experimentation tool, and partner with teams to increase experimentation adoption and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, deployment processes and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

  • Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
