Amazon Campaign Manager (Seasonal), Amazon Music Creative Production in San Jose, Costa Rica

This is a seasonal position (approximately 8 months with the potential for extension).

Amazon Music Creative Production (AMCP) is an operationally-driven team within the Music Design & Creative organization, serving as the go-to partner for Amazon Music Marketing and Programming teams. Our team of Campaign Managers, Visual Designers, QA Specialists, and Operations Managers is responsible for creating and delivering high volumes of digital assets that bring Amazon Music campaigns to life across global markets.

We are seeking a Campaign Manager who serves as the central orchestrator of marketing campaign production, driving operational excellence across stakeholder teams while ensuring creative brilliance and timely delivery. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on campaign execution, requiring exceptional project management skills and stakeholder relationship mastery.

The ideal candidate excels at connecting dots across complex initiatives, demonstrates remarkable composure in high-pressure situations, and possesses an innovative mindset balanced with pragmatic execution skills. They should be equally comfortable leading strategic discussions with Marketing partners and diving into tactical production details while maintaining focus on campaign excellence.

Key job responsibilities

Campaign Orchestration & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign production workflows, including timeline management, resource allocation, and proactive identification and resolution of potential obstacles

  • Manage 360° campaign execution across multiple work streams including HVEs (High-Velocity Events such as Prime Day, Holidays), Cultural Moments, Go-to-Market initiatives, and Livestream events

  • Act as the operational lead to remove obstacles and avoid campaign production roadblocks

  • Translate technical platform requirements and marketing briefs into actionable creative deliverable needs

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Serve as the primary campaign leader and main point of contact for Marketing and Programming partners

  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including Visual Designers, QA Specialists, Brand Creative, Design Ops, and external agencies

  • Facilitate project-related meetings (kickoffs, status updates, reviews) to communicate action steps and ensure all stakeholders are aligned

  • Set clear expectations with internal and external teams while managing multiple campaigns with competing priorities and tight deadlines

Process Optimization & Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes and robust project tracking systems

  • Track and report status of campaign production deliverables to all applicable global teams

  • Drive continuous improvement through systematic campaign analysis, feedback integration, and workflow optimization

  • Deep dive into project requirements that may at times be ambiguous, providing clarity and direction

Creative Production Management

  • Coordinate creative asset development and delivery across multiple Amazon Music marketplaces and promotional channels

  • Synthesize feedback and input from Marketing, Programming, and Creative partners

  • Ensure adherence to creative best practices and brand standards throughout the production lifecycle

  • Support creative testing initiatives and quality assurance processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project/resource management working with an in-house creative agency or external agency experience

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience in digital media including display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience working across teams and synthesizing feedback from multiple teams/owners

  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

  • Knowledge of typography, design principles, trends and best practices across digital and print

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce, digital products or entertainment industries

  • Knowledge of project management tools and software

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InDesign
