About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Business Analytics & Process Optimization to lead large‑scale process improvement, analytics, and automation initiatives across finance, operations, sales, and enterprise functions. This role focuses on process mining, data‑driven transformation, and building scalable operating models that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in business analysis, hands‑on experience with process mining and analytics platforms, and a strong ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions while managing cross‑functional stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

· Lead end‑to‑end process analysis and optimization initiatives across finance, sales, and operational areas.

· Drive process mining and task mining programs to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and compliance gaps.

· Partner with business and technology teams to document current‑state and future‑state process flows and develop transformation roadmaps.

· Deliver data‑driven insights and business cases to improve productivity, cycle times, working capital, and cost efficiency.

· Manage large, cross‑functional engagements involving analytics, automation, and enterprise platforms.

· Oversee analytics initiatives using tools such as Celonis , Tableau , Power BI , and SQL .

· Ensure process changes align with regulatory, compliance, and data governance requirements.

· Mentor analysts and consultants while establishing best practices in business analysis and process excellence.

What you need to have to be considered

· 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Consulting, or analytics‑driven transformation.

· Strong expertise in process mining (Celonis), data analysis, and data visualization.

· Proven experience leading enterprise‑scale optimization and automation initiatives.

· Solid understanding of finance, BFSI, sales operations, and demand planning processes.

· Experience across the SDLC, including requirements gathering, UAT/BAT, and stakeholder management.

· Bachelor’s degree (BE or related technical degree) required; MBA preferred.

· Lean Six Sigma certification and analytics credentials strongly preferred.

This will help you stand out

· Hands‑on experience with Celonis or other process mining tools.

· Demonstrated success leading complex cross‑functional transformation programs.

· Strong analytical skills with advanced experience in Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.

· Proven ability to improve business performance through data‑driven decision‑making.

· Experience in regulated environments requiring strict compliance and governance.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $75,600 to $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
