Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $24-$30/hour
Shift: Morning,Swing, Graveyard
What's the Job?
Perform detailed inspections independently across production stages, including sheet metal, welded assemblies, and mechanical assemblies.
Support real-time defect containment, documentation, and corrective action activities.
Conduct FAI, in-process, receiving, and final inspections without supervision.
Inspect sheet metal fabrication quality, hardware installation, weld quality, and assembly fit/function.
Use advanced inspection tools such as micrometers, digital protractors, height gauges, and scanners/CMM (if applicable).
What's Needed?
Strong troubleshooting, corrective action, and analytical skills related to quality issues.
High proficiency with handheld inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, profilometers, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Organized, efficient time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Self-motivated with minimal supervision required, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
