This role plays a critical part in driving Micron’s automotive growth strategy. As an Automotive Business Development Manager, you will own customer strategy end-to-end, from early engagement through design win, while influencing technology roadmaps and long-term revenue. You will be the primary business interface to customers and a key connector across Sales, FAEs, Product Line Management, and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Own and execute account and regional business strategies aligned with Automotive Segment priorities
Identify, develop, and close new design-in and growth opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1s, and ecosystem partners
Influence customer architectures and technology roadmaps in partnership with Product Line Management and system teams
Lead opportunity pipeline management, including design-in tracking and forecast accuracy
Deliver customer business plans, reviews, and strategic updates for assigned accounts
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in automotive business development, sales, product marketing, or strategic account management
Strong understanding of automotive electronics, including ADAS, infotainment, and centralized or zonal architectures
Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or semiconductor or system solution providers
Proven ability to influence customer strategy and drive cross-functional execution
Strong analytical, communication, and executive-level presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automotive memory and storage technologies such as LPDDR, UFS, NAND, or SSD
Exposure to software-defined vehicle platforms, automotive compute, or high-performance systems
Experience engaging chipset vendors, SoC partners, or automotive compute ecosystems
Background in strategic negotiations, long-term supply agreements, or multi-year pricing frameworks
Experience operating in a global, matrixed, cross-regional environment
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$141,000.00 - $319,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
