Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Perform routine equipment setup, operation, and adjustment. Collaborate with team members to efficiently set up machines according to setup sheets, ensuring seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with other team members to set up machines according to setup sheets.
Ensure board loader and feeders are continually kept loaded with the correct parts, preparing for the next part run by loading feeders in advance.
Maintain and load solder screen printers; operate LSM machines to check the amount of solder paste applied to boards; enter data into the CIQ system.
Maintain an orderly work area by tubing fallout parts and cleaning the area and machines as needed.
Monitor machine rejects to assure parts are being sorted and run daily.
Maintain necessary documentation and perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions.
Ensure assigned area is clean and organized.
Work direction may be communicated verbally through visual aids and setup sheets.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
Essential Skills
Experience in PCB manufacturing.
Proficiency in machine operating and SMT.
Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inspection and blueprint reading.
Knowledge of PCB assembly and production processes.

Work Environment
Work on the SMT line in a manufacturing environment. Adhere to ESD regulations with appropriate attire such as ESD shoes, lab coats, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
