Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operatorin San Jose, CA,where you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing issues in the plant environment. The safety of employees and our products is crucial, and as a Machine Operator you will help us achieve our safety goals by proactively accessing your environment and attending to issues or concerns. In this role, you must have the ability to work a 12-hour night shift with the hours being 6pm – 6:30am, on a continuous crewing schedule. You will also need to work overtime as assigned. The pay for this role is $27.31.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Measure Twice and Cut Once - Produce high-quality finished goods and ensure efficient and safe machine operation.
Technical and Manual Machine Operating - Inspect equipment and perform basic adjustments and preventative maintenance when needed.
Adhering to Safety Practices - Follow all company safety rules and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
We're Looking for Someone With
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate machinery.
Willingness and ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
Ability to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of 50 pounds.
Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with company policies. Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime, as necessary, is required.
