Job Title: Corporate Line Cook

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Line Cook with strong high‑volume production skills to support daily breakfast and lunch service at a San Jose campus. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, preparing large‑batch, high‑quality meals that follow established culinary standards and deliver a consistent dining experience for corporate guests.

Responsibilities

  • Execute large‑batch production cooking for breakfast and lunch service in a high‑volume corporate dining setting.

  • Follow standardized recipes and corporate culinary guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, quality, and portioning.

  • Prep ingredients, set up stations, and maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked workspace throughout service.

  • Support menu execution across multiple stations, including batch cooking, hot line, and prep, as business needs require.

  • Ensure all food meets established quality, safety, and presentation standards before it reaches guests.

  • Assist with inventory tasks, including labeling, rotation, and proper storage of food and supplies in accordance with food safety standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to meet strict service timelines and ensure smooth meal service.

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Essential Skills

  • 2–3+ years of high‑volume or corporate dining experience.

  • Strong production cooking experience, including batch cooking, hot line, and prep work.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a structured, team‑oriented environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Reliable and punctual, with comfort working an early‑morning schedule.

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Experience in food service, hospitality, and line cook or chef roles.

  • Strong customer service skills in a foodservice environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate dining, catering, or similar high‑volume foodservice operations.

  • Experience supporting multiple stations during service.

  • Attention to detail in food presentation and station organization.

  • Ability to adapt to changing service demands while maintaining quality and speed.

Work Environment

This role is based on site at a corporate campus within a very clean semiconductor environment. You will work in a professional kitchen setting that emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards. The schedule runs primarily Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the expectation of occasional weekend shifts as needed. The dress code includes non‑slip black shoes, black pants, and a black polo shirt, reflecting a polished and consistent appearance in line with corporate dining standards.

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
