Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay: $20–$24 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Shift-based; swing shift availability preferred (example: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our high-volume electronics manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle to ensure they meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. If you have a sharp eye, steady hands, and take pride in catching what others might miss, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing
Use inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, magnifying lenses, and color pantones to examine materials, components, and finished assemblies.
Perform inspections at incoming, in-process, and final production stages.
Monitor production operations and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
Documentation & Reporting
Record inspection results and maintain accurate inspection and test documentation.
Prepare reports outlining findings and clearly highlight deviations from standards.
Communicate quality concerns promptly to production leads and supervisors.
Quality Assurance
Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products.
Ensure QC equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in implementing new quality checks.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
1–2+ years of manufacturing or quality control experience required.
Experience in electronics or PCBA inspection strongly preferred.
Familiarity with IPC-600/610 standards and ESD control is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
English proficiency required; Mandarin language skills are a plus.
Work Environment
On-site role in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing facility.
Standing for extended periods and working on the production floor required.
Shift flexibility may be required based on business needs.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
