Description
Robert Half is partnering with a global company in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Corporate Counsel who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.
Location: Greater Seattle Area
Duration: 4+months, with strong potential for extension
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, licensing agreements, and employment contracts.
Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Provide strategic legal advice on corporate matters, partnering with internal stakeholders such as sales, supply chain, and finance teams.
Collaborate with external vendors and legal counsel to support business operations and resolve legal issues.
Oversee and advise on global contracts, including international transactions with subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions.
Conduct risk assessments and deliver practical, business-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate governance activities as needed.
Requirements
4+ years of in-house corporate counsel experience, preferably in the technology or semiconductor sectors.
Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and agreements.
Familiarity with global contracts and international business transactions.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
The salary range for this position is $60-80/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
