Robert Half Workday Accounting Center Implementation Consultant in San Francisco, California

Description We are looking for an experienced Workday Accounting Center Implementation Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to configure the Workday Accounting Center module and provide strategic insights into its capabilities for our business needs. This position is based in San Francisco, California, within the dynamic banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and implement the Workday Accounting Center module to meet organizational requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and align them with Workday Accounting Center functionalities.

• Provide expert guidance on financial processes, including month-end close, financial modeling, and reporting.

• Analyze current financial workflows and recommend improvements leveraging Workday capabilities.

• Deliver training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of the Workday Accounting Center.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations and business processes.

• Assist in forecasting and modeling activities to enhance financial planning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Workday Accounting Center module.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other functional modules.

• Stay up to date on Workday updates and best practices to continually optimize system usage. Requirements • Proven experience with Workday, specifically the Accounting Center module.

• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including month-end close, financial analysis, and reporting.

• Hands-on expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.

• Familiarity with functional and financial modules within Workday.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze and document financial workflows and business processes.

• Prior experience in the banking industry is preferred.
