Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving financial insights, supporting business decisions, and contributing to the organization's financial growth. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong attention to detail, analytical, and modeling skills.
Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify trends.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against forecasts and budgets.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business questions and challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for informed financial planning.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret complex financial datasets.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Support revenue finance initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning documents. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Expertise in variance analysis and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address business needs.
• Knowledge of advanced data mining techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate results.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
