Responsibilities for Electrical Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Operate, maintain, and repair all production equipment within the department to prevent and correct mechanical & electrical breakdowns.

  • Operate, maintain, and fix site utilities (CO2, LN2, CDA, O2).

  • Electrical/electronic troubleshooting in a manufacturing plant.

  • Perform specialized technical skills including electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, high-pressure gases.

  • Instrumentation troubleshooting, repair, and calibration.

  • Support continuous improvement programs through active participation in plant productivity initiatives.

  • Comply and actively participate in all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.

Candidates for Electrical Maintenance Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree a plus but not required.

  • 3 years maintenance-related experience, including a minimum of 1,500 hours of on-the-job experience.

  • Experience with Windows-based PCs.

  • Expertise with PLCs: instrumentation, repair, and calibration.

  • Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals.

  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers.

  • 5+ years of electrical/electronic troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.

  • Commitment to teamwork and following instructions from supervisors or team leaders.

  • Adherence to OHS policies and procedures and awareness of potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and high noise areas.

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
