Insight Global Service Delivery Support Technician in San Francisco, California

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Screening & Deployment

 • Identify and evaluate appropriate hardware models for store deployment.

 • Collaborate with vendors on installation, staging, driver requirements, and rollout readiness.

 • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues before and during hardware rollouts.

 • Document quality assurance processes and installation procedures.

 • Monitor hardware returns from stores and work with OEMs to identify and resolve defects.

rvice Delivery & Support

 • Provide support and documentation for retail store technologies and devices, including POS, printers, digital displays, cameras, and overhead music systems.

 • Respond to inquiries via phone and email within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

 • Track, manage, and resolve cases using ServiceNow and NCR @YS Portal.

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

 • Experience supporting retail technologies such as POS systems, printers, digital signage, cameras, and in-store media systems.

 • Proven experience in:

  ○ Hardware Screening

  ○ Vendor Management

  ○ Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  ○ Inventory Control & Management

  ○ Budget Management (CAPEX & OPEX)

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros. • Experience or exposure to AI tools and automation initiatives is a plus.
