CBRE Property Accountant (Hybrid) in San Francisco, California
About the Role:
As a Property Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial planning and analysis
funtion, providing advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and forecating support to senior
management and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
Provide supervision, performance reviews, and mentorship to team members
Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives
Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures
Work to build consensus
Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for various business units
Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders and teams
Identify and analyze complex financial issues and develop recommendations for resolution
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience
Thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals required
In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job
function and basic knowledge of related job functions required
Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information
Expert knowledge of Google Workspace
Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset
Exceptional math skills with the ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Property Accountant position is $85,000 annually with bonus eligibility and the maximum salary for the position is $90,000 annually with bonus eligibility. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
