We are currently seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join our Commercial Management team to work on various projects inin Seattle, San Francisco, or Los Angeles,major infrastructure projects.
The focus of this role is to provideday-to-day project controls and commercial support to Project Managers, Project Directors, and Business Administrators across cost management, forecasting, reporting, change management, contract administration, and subconsultant management.
The Opportunity
Lead project cost control and forecasting activities , including budgeting, resource planning, spend tracking, and support to the Project Manager in achieving project profitability and other commercial objectives.
Develop and maintain core project controls structures and reporting , including work breakdown structures, integration of schedule, budget, and cost reporting, and use of financial and project systems to monitor performance.
Produce and interpret project performance reporting , including dashboards, earned value, variance analysis, and monthly reporting for project teams and clients.
Support commercial and contract administration activities , including scope and change management, maintenance of change and risk registers, and support for fee proposals and contract change orders.
Coordinate key project commercial processes , including client invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, subconsultant administration, and review of project financial data for accuracy and completeness.
Support project delivery operations and continuous improvement , including time-charging quality, staff mobilization, work planning, and improving project controls, reporting, and commercial processes.

Is this role right for you?
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and atleast 8 years of relevant experience in project controls, commercial management, or project administration within the design, engineering, or construction industry.
Experience supporting commercial and contract administration activities , including change management, subconsultant administration, and an understanding of key contract types and commercial implications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills , with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and translate data into clear reporting and insights for different audiences.
Advanced Excel, data manipulation, and Power Query skills , with experience in complex spreadsheet design; VBA experience preferred.
Experience using Power BI for project reporting and dashboards , including maintaining and enhancing existing dashboards or developing new reporting tools.
Familiarity with project scheduling and digital tools , including Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project; experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Forms, or Lists is an advantage.
Experience on major infrastructure or design-build projects , including work with contractors and public agencies delivering major projects in the transport, water and energy sectors.

San Francisco HiringRange – Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $125,000 to $175,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
